The VIVOTECNA® SuperAerated EcoSpongeRubber is our Twenty-year industrial invention patent. It presents itself as an ecological product, since almost all components are of natural origin. Other few chemical elements, in low quantities, dissolve after vulcanization in the oven for several hours up to 130°C.
It has open cells and promotes air recirculation inside myriads of tunnels in the mass, reducing or eliminating humidity. For these characteristics it is defined as a fresh product and has elasticity, non-deformability and high mechanical properties, with resistance to traction, crumbling, abrasion.
This material is particularly aimed at the padding sector in furniture, sports, healthcare-medical, footwear and anti-impact protections.
It complies with CE REACH Regulation No. 1907/2006, as well as SVHC and USA FDA 21CFR 177.2600. This in respect of People, Animals and Environment.
Padding with open-cell EcoSpongeRubber is soft and elastic, characteristics absent in other saddle pads. It protects the coat hair, as well as the skin. In fact, the saddle movements are dampened on the horse's skin. The lower fabric of the saddle pad against the skin, thanks to the elasticity of the EcoSpongeRubber, moves less compared to the upper fabric against the saddle, so that the rubbing on the equine skin is milder.
The horse's gait causes pressure and depression under the saddle, that is, it creates the bellows effect, which promotes air exchange inside the saddle pad, expelling humid air and inhaling new air. Furthermore, during compressions, sweat is expelled from the open cells and can also be seen flowing on the belly skin. In this way the saddle also remains almost dry.
This is a layer of EcoSpongeRubber without covering or covered with non-slip fabrics.
The EcoSpongeRubber, besides being elastic and SuperAerated which guarantees air exchange between the saddle and the saddle pad, has the important characteristic of not slipping, remaining stable in the position where it is placed when saddling the horse.
The softness and elasticity of the EcoSpongeRubber help to protect the withers, especially if pronounced, and the horse's back, both from saddle rubbing and from rider impacts.
The Girth padded with Vivotecna SuperAerated EcoSpongeRubber in the contact area with the Equine's skin. It is thicker than the traditional one in use and fixes the saddle to the horse's back, with the advantage that its elasticity creates a slightly variable compression against the belly. In this way, air exchange is obtained tending to reduce sweat, as well as making contact with the skin more delicate.
Clothing can be padded in areas at risk of impacts and falls, such as elbows, shoulders, knees and back, offering the wearer valid protection.
The Natural Rubber EcoSpongeRubber in its various densities, hardnesses, porosities, adapts as padding in various parts of high-quality footwear for sports use. Thanks to its open-cell structure and its bellows effect, it decreases foot sweating and due to its elasticity helps the athlete to have greater thrust during jumping or running.
